46 North Landscape Company is a local Fargo-area landscape and outdoor living business built around a simple idea: outdoor spaces should be beautiful, functional, and made to fit the way people actually live.
Since 2013, we have helped homeowners create landscapes that are unique in form, complete in function, and rich in plant material. From paver patios and planting beds to backyard greenhouses, pergolas, pavilions, sunrooms, and complete outdoor living spaces, our work is designed with the northern climate in mind.
We believe a well-designed landscape should feel intentional, not ordinary. It should add comfort, structure, color, and purpose to your home while giving your family more reasons to spend time outside.
As a local small business, we take pride in practical design, quality installation, and honest guidance from the first conversation to the finished project. Joshua Cook
Josh has degrees in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Design from NDSU.
He has over 20 years of experience working in the construction and landscaping industries. You can be confident in the expertise Josh will bring to your landscaping project!
Josh and his wife Audrey keep busy with twin daughters, Sybil and Mira.

The best landscapes function using design principles of balance, contrast, repetition, proportion, movement, and open space.
Sun or shade, we apply our formula for variety and quantity to ensure our landscapes are rich in plant material.
BACKYARD GREENHOUSES

The ultimate reward is preparing and serving meals made with fruit and vegetables grown in your own backyard.
Our northern climate poses a growing challenge with a short season, 140 days on average.
In 2020 we met with Exaco Trading in Austin, Texas, and became a Royal Victorian and Riga Greenhouse Retailer.
We have full-size displays in Fargo and offer tours of private in-use greenhouses by appointment.

The 46 North logo is one quadrant of the earth and features two latitude lines.
The top line is the 46th parallel north of the equator. Here, we see fifteen hours of sun on our longest day and less than nine on the shortest.
