Our crew works in teams of two or three. We do our best to rotate between demanding and less demanding tasks to keep crews fresh. A positive attitude, clean language, and a driver's license are required.

Landscape Lead

We are looking for an experienced and responsible landscaper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating equipment such as a mini track loader, skid-steer, and brick saw.

The Landscape Lead will work with a team member or independently to complete a variety of fun jobs such as planting flowers, bushes, and trees, removing or installing landscape rock and mulch, installing paver patios, and assembling greenhouses.

Work Environment

This position requires physical abilities such as strength, manual dexterity, and must be able to perform all required functions of this position. While performing the duties of the job, the landscape team member is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, lift, crouch, reach, stoop, crawl, or kneel. The position is regularly exposed to a mix of outdoor weather conditions including extreme heat and may include muddy/wet worksites. Due to the seasonal nature of work, some peak load situations (overtime) may arise. Drug-Free Work Zone.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Installation of hardscape and softscape material according to design specifications.

  • Utilize various hand tools, powers tools, and equipment to carry out specified job duties.

  • Move and transport materials using shovels and wheelbarrows.

  • Lay sod or seed.

  • Installation of drainage systems.

  • Plant flowers, bushes, and trees.

  • Remove and install landscape rock or mulch.

  • Properly store and handle all equipment, tools, etc.

  • Maintain a clean and safe job site.

  • Interact professionally with all customers, employees, and those from external organizations.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

  • Have a positive attitude and use clean language.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical ability are a must.

  • Able to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds.

  • High school degree or equivalent educational experience.

  • Able to work independently.

  • Ensure that all safety rules and policies are followed.

  • Previous experience in landscaping a plus!

Pay: $16.00 per hour or more depending on experience​
